The brief grammar reference includes a lesson-by-lesson explanation of the rules of word formation and grammatical phenomena, and a summary table of verb tenses.
Each lesson begins with a listing of phonetic and lexical-grammatical material and consists of 8 sections: phonetic (Sound Right), word-building (Word-building), studying reading (Full Understanding), practice of communication (Practice in Communication), introductory reading (General Understanding ), scanning reading (Scanning Practice), listening (Listening Practice) and additional (Time for Fun).

Greetings, my dear readers.

We are all completely different, although we are united by a love of English. We have different goals, different plans, different professions. Today I want to pay special attention to the defenders of our rights and responsibilities - lawyers. And the topic today is the textbook “English for Lawyers” and my advice on which one to choose.

Textbook Zelikman.

For the last 15 years, Zelikman’s textbook has been considered the most famous textbook on law in our homeland.

The book is structured in such a way that it improves all speaking skills: from vocabulary to grammar and reading. Among the advantages I can name the following:

Opportunity to improve pronunciation. Each lesson is accompanied by exercises for a particular sound.
Opportunity to repeat grammar. Each lesson has its own grammar part.
Minimum basic legal vocabulary. And, in principle, it should be enough for a general understanding.
Emphasis on reading and speaking skills. The exercises and assignments are perfect for classroom work.

But still, in my opinion, the manual is a little outdated. Still, 17 years is a decent amount of time. In addition, it is designed only for superficial study. So, as if it was intended for those students of Moscow State Law Academy who didn’t really know the language, and don’t want to learn it intensively.
