How I spent the summer

How I spent the summer - translation

So we had an excellent opportunity to go round the city, to see beautiful monuments to the famous people who had lived in Odessa, museums and the Odessa Opera House.
We enjoyed our trip from Odessa to Sochi. The Black Sea was calm. We sat on deck in the lounge chairs and looked at the sea. I like Sochi very much, we bathed and went boating and swim-ming, lay in the sun on the beach. In the evenings we went for a walk or dropped in at a cafe to have ice-cream or juice. My father showed us the famous Botanical Gardens, we went for hikes in the mountains, we saw the magnificent Augura Waterfalls.
The sea was nice and warm. The weather was fine. When it was time to go home, we were sorry to leave the marvelous town of Sochi.
My holidays

In July I was at my grandparents' dacha. The area here is very beautiful: lake, fields, many trees. The garden has fruit trees, raspberry bushes and many vegetables. In the neighboring village you can buy fresh milk and eggs. If there was Internet and TV there, you could spend the whole summer like in the village. Unfortunately, the dacha is far from the city and you have to get there by train or shuttle bus. To my shame, I cannot go long without all modern conveniences and my visit lasted no more than a week.
In late August our friends and the family made a trip to Bulgaria. It was a wonderful time. Several excursions to the small towns on the coast, a lot of delicious food and, of course, a beach holiday. We stayed in a magnificent hotel with its beautiful grounds, excellent cuisine and entertainment. I met a few guys from other countries and we had fun on the beach and in the evening. With some of them now I correspond and we plan to meet next year.
Every season is beautiful in its own way. The change of months is like a new little life when you can start all over again. Summer is the best time for new opportunities.

But we can also combine it with a beach holiday as we did it in Italy and Spain. It helps to keep the balance between active and peaceful rest.
So, I suppose that summer must be full of rest, going out with friends and obligatory travelling. This year my family is going to Greece and I’m looking forward to having an exciting time there.

What's the best thing about summer? Of course, only the summer spent at sea. The longest school holidays, hot sun and fresh fruit are much more pleasant to spend near the water. Moreover, the larger the body of water and the cleaner the water in it, the better the impressions will be left there.

This year we went to Sochi again, as we all really like this resort town. It has a very developed infrastructure for vacationers and tourists. But first, there was a long road ahead, which I really love, since we got to the place by train. This is my favorite type of transport, because during the journey you have the opportunity to think and dream. Sochi always welcomes its guests very hospitably.
I really love excursions to the mountains, as the mountains have very beautiful nature and fresh air. I am glad that I took several boat trips and jeep rides along mountain roads, as this entertainment is very exciting. There was an opportunity to go to the water park and admire the sports facilities that were built for world sports competitions and arouse admiration among vacationers.
The city has a lot of different entertainment options that are suitable for people of all ages. The beaches that stretch along the city are very clean and equipped with the opportunity to play beach volleyball and rent various sports equipment. I hope that I will spend these holidays very cheerfully and with benefit for my health. All people love to dream and they each have their own dream, the fulfillment of which they dream and try to make into reality. The fulfillment of a dream also depends on the people themselves - some do everything to make their dreams come true, while others just sit in place, doing nothing, and wait for the dream to come true on its own. All people are different, so not all people's dreams come true.
My dream is to visit the Dead Sea, located between Jordan and Israel. This is the only body of water in which it is impossible to drown, because the concentration of salts in it exceeds all standards familiar to people and their pressure simply does not allow a person to drown. Water also contains many useful substances of organic and inorganic nature, such as bromides and iodides. These substances in moderate concentrations are extremely beneficial for the body, and receiving the substances in the form of rest and bathing will allow a person to calmly enjoy life and receive all the necessary microelements.
The healing mud that is extracted from the bottom of the sea is also very attractive. These muds formed the basis of many cosmetic masks and lotions.
