The Surgut branch of the Siberian State Automobile and Highway Academy was created in 2002, accredited in 2008. The formation of such a direction is due to the fact that in recent years the quality of knowledge of applicants in such a subject as physics has greatly decreased compared to the indicators of previous years. But the test results in this particular academic discipline are very important, since it is decisive in the professional training of university specialists. In addition, successfully passing the unified state exam in physics is a necessary condition for admission to the academy. SibADI employees conduct free classes on this subject in order to increase the level of knowledge in this area among those who would like to receive an engineering education. Physics courses are intended for eleventh grade students who are preparing to take the Unified State Exams.

Applicants attending classes are given additional literature, which they can freely use. Lessons usually begin in October and take place in two stages. Each of them includes about eleven lessons. You can register for school by phone; it is better to do this in early autumn or winter. Please note that there are not always vacancies in groups. Typically the number of applicants ranges from twenty-five to thirty people. Classes are held on weekends (Sunday). In addition to such an innovation as a physical school, SibADI has a vocational guidance center. It was created with the aim of helping future students in professional self-determination, as well as to familiarize applicants and their parents with the programs for training specialists and areas of study of this university. It is in this center that schoolchildren are prepared to pass exams in various academic disciplines and to enter university.

History of SibADI

In 1930, by the decision of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR and the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, 5 automobile and road institutes were organized in the Tsudortrans system: in Moscow (), Leningrad(LADI), Saratov (SADI), Kharkov (HADI) And Omsk(SibADI).

In the city (order No. 978 of April 14, 1999), SibADI, on the basis of an order of the Ministry of General and Professional Education of the Russian Federation, was renamed into the Siberian State Automobile and Highway Academy (SibADI).

The SibADI Technology Transfer Center was created in the city and the technology transfer network “Domestic Innovations in Transport and Construction” was launched.
