IMPROVEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS OF CERTIFIED AUDITORS

The Educational and Methodological Center of the Faculty of Economics of St. Petersburg State University provides advanced training for certified auditors according to programs approved by Self-Regulatory Organizations in the field of general audit and audit of exchanges, extra-budgetary funds and investment institutions.

Advanced training of auditors in the field of general audit

In accordance with Part 9 of Article 11 307-FZ of the Federal Law “On Auditing Activities” on annual professional development: "The auditor is obliged, during each calendar yearstarting from the year following the year of receipt of the auditor’s qualification certificate,undergo training in advanced training programs, approved by the self-regulatory organization of auditors, of which he is a member.

Minimum duration of such trainingestablished by a self-regulatory organization of auditors for its members andcannot be less than 120 hours for three consecutive calendar years, but not less than 20 hours in each year".

When planning advanced training courses for auditors in 2018, educational organizations included in the Register of Educational Centers of the SRO AAS are invited to provide the opportunity to train auditors - members of the SRO AAS in advanced training programs that correspond to priority topics.

3. Registry training and methodological centers of the Self-regulatory organization of auditors of the Association “Commonwealth” (as of May 15, 2018)

Advanced training is a prerequisite for auditors, since, according to the legislation of the Russian Federation, each auditor must annually take appropriate courses.

In case of failure to comply with this requirement, the auditor is automatically deprived of his permanent auditor certificate.
