The same can be said about those cases when you begin to experience some discomfort after words spoken not to offend you or make you feel guilty, but simply to point out some shortcomings in a friendly manner. In this case, we can say that you have increased sensitivity to the words of people around you.

How does this unpleasant feeling of guilt in front of other people arise? Yes, very easy. For example, you got a bad grade on a test at school. Your parents said that you are stupid and not capable of anything, but they support you, and they would not want to have such an ungrateful daughter. You will convince yourself that you are really not capable of anything, that you are unworthy of your parents, and so on.
