The device is the largest Mars rover in the history of space exploration. It weighs about a ton, and its dimensions are three meters in length and two in height. It was originally planned that the rover would stay on the Red Planet for no more than two years. However, research is still ongoing. The device functions perfectly and copes with its duties. Its mission is to assess whether life ever existed on Mars, obtain detailed information about the planet's climate and geology, and determine whether landing humans on the surface is possible. For these purposes, Curiosity was equipped with three types of cameras that transmit color and black-and-white images, a set of tools for remote study of rocks, and a bucket for scooping up soil. In addition, the rover has ultraviolet sensors, sets of meteorological instruments and instruments for determining the composition of the atmosphere and assessing background radiation.

What did you find?
Thanks to the RAD radiation detectors installed on Curiosity, scientists were able to find out that cosmic radiation on Mars exceeds the Earth's norm. It is so high that astronauts during the flight and landing on the planet can receive a potentially lethal dose - more than one sievert of ionizing radiation.
In 2013, an article was published in the journal Sience, which stated that in a day a living organism located on Mars can accumulate tens of times more ionizing radiation than on Earth, approximately 0.21 mSv. This figure is only two times lower than the level of radiation in outer space. Thus, in a year of “ordinary” life on the Red Planet, 300 times more radiation will accumulate in the human body than in a nuclear industry worker on Earth. Another important discovery by Curiosity was the traces of water and simple organic matter that it discovered in the soil of Mars. Discoveries of ufologists
But not only scientists are observing the life of the device on the Red Planet. Ufologists also view videos and photos of his travels. Experts in the field of UFOs have already found a lot of “sensational” evidence of the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations. In 2017 alone, they managed to spot the wreckage of a flying saucer and the remains of aliens. They managed to do this after repeatedly enlarging the images published on the official NASA website. Specialists interested in unusual phenomena identified them as two chests and half-decayed elongated skulls. In just five years of the rover's operation, searchers for extraterrestrial civilizations managed to discover something similar to a spider-like hairy monkey, as well as strange objects resembling a Bigfoot skull, a reptile skeleton, a dinosaur head, traces of mushrooms, lichens, a squirrel and even someone's hip bones.
Is there life on Mars? Despite the fact that the opposite was proven long ago, the planet was inhabited, but only millions of years ago, and then theoretically, since it was millions of years ago that there was liquid water there, ufologists do not agree with this. Many of them are actively “populating” Mars with anyone and in any form, even believing that either a colony of Lilliputians could live there, or local residents live somewhere underground.
The latter is not possible even in theory, since experts have proven that there is a dangerous and very toxic substance in the soil of the Red Planet. It is extremely small, less than 1% of the total composition, but even one very tenacious bacterium, which was planted in this soil during the experiment, lived for only a couple of minutes. What then can we say about some intelligent creatures? In any case, if they are at least relatively similar in terms of body functionality to humans, they would not be able to survive.
The second point is that ufologists themselves do not actually conduct any research. Alien specialists are simply studying photographs published by the American space agency NASA on its website and provided by its Curiosity rover. The scientific side of such assumptions, therefore, is reduced to virtually zero, since if there really was something serious, the department itself could have assumed something based on its photographs. Fortunately, special attention has been paid to Mars, as to the planet to which in the future the first manned expedition of earthlings may be sent, remaining there forever. Various risks and features are studied, ship details are thought through, and so on.
What would be the logic of sending someone to the Red Planet if there really was someone there, and a completely unknown one? The mission is not diplomatic, but purely research; no contacts with the “Martians” are specified in it. Moreover, the expedition itself has attracted a lot of public attention; not only US citizens will participate in it, but also, according to some information, at least one Russian woman. Accordingly, if the mission is deceived, one can expect at least a scandal on the entire planet, which will escalate an already extremely dire political situation. It’s clear that the risks are too great to let things get to that point. Moreover, the waste of money and resources is enormous.
However, ufologists, one way or another, regularly note new “UFO facts” on Mars. For example, just recently information about the evaluation of another photograph appeared on the Internet. On it, a certain Mauricio Ruiz examined a strange piece of metal, similar to something that had fallen from a great height.
The researcher decided that in front of him was a crashed “flying saucer”, which he reported to NASA. There, naturally, his idea was not supported, noting that these were only fragments of an earthly apparatus that had once tried to land on the surface.
Actually, the likelihood of the veracity of the latest version is quite high, since Mars, like space in general, has been and is being explored by trial and error. Many automatic spaceships and all kinds of probes sent beyond the Earth either immediately broke down or did not survive when trying to land somewhere, falling to pieces. Accordingly, it could also be such a ship that failed to land correctly, and therefore ended up in this state. The very fact that only the Curiosity rover is currently engaged in full-fledged research proves that other vehicles really just crashed one way or another. Otherwise, photos from the planet would have been received from other ships.
Nevertheless, ufologists are alarmed by the fact that for some reason, some time after the question about a possible UFO, the photo was replaced with a completely black square. NASA did not disclose the reason for this event. Logically, it is possible that there was simply a malfunction in the site due to frequent use of it, so part of the content disappeared, automatically being replaced by a black square. This also happens when working with ordinary Internet resources; something can break in the program for a short period of time, and one object is accidentally replaced by another.
By the way, currently on the NASA website in the gallery of photos of Mars, neither the black square nor the picture that interested Ruiz has been found, just as there are no others similar to it and in any way confirming the version of a UFO. All available footage is labeled with an indication of where it was taken, showing a beautiful but completely lifeless planet with no signs of “flying saucers.” This only confirms the opinion that the appearance of such a picture could have been an accident, or it really only represented the wreckage of an earthly automatic spacecraft, which either ended up in the gallery by accident, or NASA decided that a piece of metal would hardly be of interest to those who would like to see views of the Red Planet.
Thus, the latest guesses by ufologists about supposed life on Mars or attempts by aliens to fly there turned out to be unreliable. The Red Planet has remained lifeless for millions of years and will remain so, at least until either people settle there one day, clearing the celestial body and “terrasforming” it, or until it completely burns up under the influence of the Sun in one and a half billion years. years. Theoretically, during this period some aliens could fly there, but their existence has not even been proven at the present time, so this probability is reduced to almost zero.

It became known that on Mars, still inaccessible to us, a UFO crashed, an object that, apparently, is directly related to the secret developments of American intelligence agencies.
This is not an ordinary event, but everything is in order. If in the 40s of the 20th century the majority of UFO supporters were sure that the “saucers” were coming from Mars, then by the 80s such a theory only caused ridicule from specialists. Finally, on May 10, 2001, it was reported that American scientists recognized... the fact of aliens visiting Mars. Specialists close to NASA studied images sent to Earth by the interplanetary Mars Global Surveyor, which was in orbit around Mars for three years, and found in some photographs... pipes at least 18 meters in diameter. They look like glass and, most likely, of artificial origin, like the pyramids seen in the photographs.
As a result, by the end of spring, world public opinion was already prepared for, perhaps, the biggest sensation of the new century - the presence of another intelligence on Mars. But no one could have imagined that even the amazing facts mentioned above would soon seem trivial in comparison with the discovery made literally in the last days by the American scientist Ephraim Palermo. Having gained access to special archives, he acted like a real hacker, drawing attention to the Viking images classified as “of no interest.” As a result, the American “fished” raw photographs from the archive, which, upon closer examination, turned out to be a “portrait”... of a triangular UFO that apparently crashed on Mars!
The authenticity of the photographs is confirmed by the fact that each “portrait” of a triangular UFO has a serial classification number in the archive. Palermo, who deciphered the sensation, turned to specialists who soon reconstructed the object. The reconstruction only confirmed the scientist’s conclusions that this is a classic UFO. The specialist did not rest on his laurels and turned to physicists, who determined from a number of signs that the fall of the artifact onto the surface of Mars was followed by an explosion of an unknown type of fuel. And then, inspired by his successes, Palermo took a perhaps erroneous and unsafe step for his life: he showed the photographs to a certain Edward Fouche, who worked in the famous “Area 51” on the creation of top-secret aircraft. And Fouché said literally the following: “Where did you get the pictures of our TR-3B? And where did he crash?” Having learned that we are not talking about the American top-secret “triangle”, but about a UFO that crashed on Mars, Fouche was speechless - his statements that in “Area 51” there is an alien triangular UFO, on the basis of which the Americans built their TR-3B, received documentary evidence for the first time. Fouche also managed to report that the UFO that crashed on Mars was completely identical to the one he allegedly had to deal with in Area 51.
Only Fouche’s confessions did not arouse enthusiasm among the US intelligence services, which for the time being denied not only the possession of an alien “triangle”, not only the existence of the new generation “invisibility” TR-3B, but also the existence of “Zone-51” itself. However, this is no longer so important.
Another thing is more important: the current sensational discovery may put an end to the question of whether Americans use alien ships to create their own top-secret machines. Another thing is how long it will take both NASA and the intelligence services to reveal the facts, considering that it took them 15 years to take such a step in the case of the non-binding Martian pyramids. The fact that American specialists are working with crashed “triangles” is supported not only by Fouche’s statements and not only by the identity of the UFO on Mars with the earthly TR-3B, but also by the long-term denial of “Area 51” by the intelligence services. Many researchers who claimed to be connected to this top-secret base were declared crazy. Some died “unexpectedly” in the prime of life. Until... Russian intelligence agencies intervened in the matter.
The Military Topographical Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces did not consider the revelations about “Zone-51” to be chatter of retired scientists and directed the “Kometa” satellite (TKK “Cosmos”) to search for the “non-existent” base. It was from such a satellite that the photographs of the military base that caused a scandal in the American spy agencies were taken.
