When choosing the best cities to live in the world, you should study the ratings as carefully as possible. 15.Paris

Oddly enough, the capital of world fashion is not a leader in such ratings. Although the capital of France attracts a huge number of tourists, living here is quite expensive. 14.Barcelona

It might not be included in this rating, although it is a city in Spain with a fairly high standard of living. The capital of Spain, Madrid, was not even included in the top 50. Barcelona has excellent universities, making it a better choice for students. There are not a large number of foreigners here, and this Spanish city itself is quite calm and cozy.

13.Milan

There are many wonderful places in Italy, but it was Milan that overtook the capital in terms of ratings. But local ratings believe that Trento is best. This city is the safest and most comfortable. But Milan, with a higher standard of living, allows its residents to realize themselves in almost any type of activity. The disadvantage of this place in Italy is the high cost of living.

But the wages here are appropriate. Copenhagen is suitable for lovers of ancient towns with beautiful streets and magnificent architecture. All this did not prevent the Danes from developing excellent infrastructure, reducing the crime rate, and making the city convenient for all residents without exception.

4.Melbourne

Almost all rankings in recent years describing the best cities include Melbourne. Indeed, it was not for nothing that this locality ended up among the best cities in France, Spain, Italy, Canada, and Germany. About 4 million people live here. Regarding the standard of living of the townspeople, we can say that it is quite high.

All the country's major sporting and cultural events are held here, and the number of tourists visiting Melbourne each year is comparable to the number that comes to the most famous tourist destinations in the world. Local attractions include Swanston Street, Rialto Tower, Victoria Arts Center and more.

German cities are not losing their positions and are included in almost all existing rankings. Munich is no exception. The calling card of this place is its excellent healthcare and education system. The ancient city can offer its residents a well-developed infrastructure, safety, jobs, high salaries, and quality medicine. That is, economic stability. All this, together with a large number of attractions, attracts thousands of people every year.

The bulk of comments from tourists visiting Vienna concern not only the luxurious architecture, but also the magnificent nature. The city is located on the Danube River, and is surrounded by mountain peaks and the Viennese pine forest. A lot of entertainment complexes with thermal springs are a paradise for both tourists and residents of Vienna.

If we talk about the economic situation, a Viennese resident with an average income can easily visit resorts several times a year and own a car with a minimum cost of 50 thousand euros. 80th place. Moscow

131st place. Kyiv

Kyiv rounds out the top ten worst cities in the world to live in. The reason for this was the Maidan and its consequences. Or maybe the environment has deteriorated so much from burning tires? According to the Economist Intelligence Unit, the worst situation here is in such indicators as “Stability and “Infrastructure”.

The Economist Intelligence Unit has published its annual Global Liveability Report 2017, which ranks the world's cities by quality of life. Here you need to understand that many parameters were taken into account: the level of crime, the threat of terrorism and military conflicts, accessibility to healthcare, education, infrastructure, the existing cultural environment, ecology, etc.

I hasten to disappoint you, Moscow was only in 80th place. Our Ukrainian neighbors are also in for an unpleasant surprise.

It also turned out that I was in more places from the last ten of the ranking than from the first. So enjoy photos and posts from cities you probably never want to visit! ;)

A wonderful city, I celebrated New Year here! Melbourne has a cool tram, great wine, delicious steaks and koalas. What else is needed for happiness?

3. Vancouver (Canada) But I never made it to Vancouver (I only saw it from the airplane window.

I’ve been, seen, walked, and I can confirm: everything is great here!

5. Calgary (Canada) I didn’t make it, I need to fix it!

6. Adelaide (Australia). I haven’t been either (Shame! I’ll definitely visit in December!

7. Perth (Australia) It’s in the plans for December! By the way, Perth is a city of miners with all the ensuing consequences: miners love to have fun;) And a city of ordinary Australian men, bogans! We’ll sit on the courts, beat someone and drink beer.

Many people like Auckland, but I find it a bit boring. Yes, safe, clean, but BORING!

Oh, I wrote a lot about this recently;) Did you like it?))))

Hamburg is not only the protests I recently covered, but also a livable city!

Oh) We are in the middle.

Oh, and Kyiv is in trouble. Literally, in the top ten worst cities. It's all because of the Maidan and its consequences. Or maybe the environment has worsened due to tires?

I don't particularly remember the city...

133. Harare I haven’t been here, but I’ve been to Zimbabwe and I can say that it’s an ASS!

134-135. But they shouldn’t have included Karachi. Cool city! I like it. Islamabad and Lahore are a much bigger dump.

This is where I don’t understand at all: a cool, safe and green city! I enjoyed spending 3 days there at the time.

136. Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea) Plans for next year.

ABOUT! This is truly hell on earth.

The city is a traffic jam, and quite dangerous.

For obvious reasons.

Here, by the way, are the five most successful and five most failed cities over the past 5 years. Moscow is in the same company here with Kiev, Tripoli, Damascus and Detroit. And Tehran, for example, is gradually climbing up. Maybe because sanctions on Iran were lifted?)

So, where is Mogadishu? Where is Kabul? Where is Omsk? Looks like foreign researchers just got tired of studying some cities!

What do you think? Where were you?
