On the calendar, the second half of March, and spring does not think to come into its own. And no matter how we didn’t see off the winter on, it’s still not cold in the spring, it’s cloudy and it’s snowing. Considering all the circumstances, my daughter and I were going to visit the sun, ask to warm the Earth and hasten the onset of spring. With such an attitude, they conducted a thematic lesson on the Slovak fairy tale "At the Sun's Away".

At first, I invited my daughter to remember all the heroes of the fairy tale, guessing riddles.

Having successfully completed this task, we decided to restore the weather conditions described in the fairy tale in the conditions of our apartment. In other words, hide the sun behind a cloud. To do this, I glued a large plastic smiley face (sun) under the packaging plastic with tape, and my daughter's task was to cover the sun with a plasticine cloud by smearing it. 
It remains to make the first heroes and get ready for the journey. The chickens were drawn by stamping. A jar of gouache was used as a stamp. In our book, unlike the filmstrip, 10 chickens go on a hike - we drew so many. In addition, it was convenient for subsequent mathematical tasks. You can draw less.
Putting stamps with paint and gluing foam rubber beaks, they added wings, eyes and paws. Here are the chickens and ready.
“Remember the chickens you took on camping trips?”
- A grain and a poppy.
- Correctly! So we must give them grains for the journey, only ours are all mixed up. Help sort.
We sort the mixture of corn, sunflower seeds and pasta, and at the end we distribute 2 grains to each chicken.

Meeting with the snail
Chickens walked, walked and met.
We make a snail from foil. We got a whole family of snails: mom, dad and daughter.

“Help us crawl through the labyrinths, then we’ll tell you.” 
Due to the lack of a printer, I drew all printed materials by hand, including labyrinths. It didn't affect my interest in the game. Therefore, if you do not have a printer, draw everything yourself and have fun playing with us!
The daughter led the snails through the labyrinths, and they said that it was better to ask the Magpie about the Sun - she knows everything.
Speech games with Magpie
The magpie was in the form of an applique of feathers. Black feathers from my mother's "obsolete" blouse, and white feathers gathered near the poultry house. The beak and legs of a magpie are made of plasticine. The eye is also homemade. For its manufacture, empty cells from tablets were used with the foil saved at the back. Inside we put a ball of plasticine, straighten the foil and seal it with tape. For 5 min. you will have 10 - 12 eyes. A great option if the purchased eyes are over or they are not sold in the nearest stores. 
Magpie agreed to help us if we talk to her, and offered to repeat tongue twisters.

Math games with the Hare
When we successfully completed the task, Magpie volunteered to help and led to the hare. It was decided to make a bunny from a paper napkin. The photo below shows this simple process step by step. At the last stage, the napkin folded in half is tied in a knot, leaving free ends - hare ears and a finger ring. 
The Hare, put on the finger, immediately came to life and began to demand that they help him count all the reserves. And then after the winter something rotted, somewhere there were additional supplies, and he can’t fill out his journal correctly.

To do this, I prepared a cardboard template with drawn vegetables. Next we write the numbers and signs with which we will work: + or -, and with the help of clothespins we solve examples. I wrote the numbers and signs in pencil so that they could be changed in subsequent games. 
When all the vegetables were counted, the hare said that he also wanted to go in search of the Sun, and led everyone to the duck.
Meeting with a duck
The duck (rubber toy) said that the Sun lives beyond the stream. And to cross it, you need a raft.
At first, I wanted to make a raft from real twigs, but my daughter had her own plans for this. Therefore, the raft was made from cocktail tubes and scotch tape. Masha was so inspired by this idea that she built a raft almost without my help. 
The raft immediately set sail, but apart from the duck, we did not dare to put other heroes on it, since we have them made of paper.
While the raft was crossing the stream, we talked about waterfowl, the structure of their feathers, and the presence of the coccygeal gland, which produces a special secret to lubricate feathers, so that they do not get wet, but repel water.
Experiment with feathers. We took the fly feathers of a dove (they didn’t look for duck feathers) - these birds can also sit on the water, so they are quite suitable for experiments. One feather was washed with dishwashing detergent, the second was not touched. Then both feathers were lowered into a basin of water. The first looked soaked through, and on the second, the water collected in drops and rolled off, leaving the feather dry. 
This experiment demonstrates that the feather is covered with a thin layer of fat that repels water. The first feather was treated with a fat dissolver, which is why it began to get wet.
Meeting with a hedgehog
Crossing the stream, the duck led everyone to the hedgehog.
The hedgehog was made from plasticine and a pine cone. When the hedgehog came to life, he said that he needed to go up the mountain and look for the sun there. 
- Hedgehog, where can we look for the mountain?
“And here she is. The hedgehog led everyone to the sofa and told Masha that she should climb on the sofa - the armrest - the back of the sofa and climb back down as many times as the Sun is looking for travelers.
Having counted everyone, the daughter completed this task with pleasure.
Journey into space
At the top of the mountain, Yozh said that you need to fly to the Sun on a cloud.
We did not like this idea, because we already know that a cloud is an accumulation of water vapor, and you cannot fly far on it. Therefore, they began to discuss what other options for aeronautics exist. It was necessary to name 10 options. Including the flying carpet, we still collected them, but we decided to fly on a rocket.
Previously, I cut out 5 small rockets from paper and made a small pocket in the back into which I could insert the end of a cocktail tube. To launch a rocket, you need to blow properly and ... the rocket flew! 
This exercise for the development of breathing was very captivating for my daughter, and we repeated it many times, competing with who was farther and whose rocket would fly higher.
Arriving on the moon, the animals began to complain that it was cold in space and they needed clothes. I had to get a magic wand and, remembering the names of warm clothes, dress each character in a separate look.
In addition to the fact that the animals were cold, they were also hungry, so their daughter fed them “space food”, which was the caps from felt-tip pens. It was necessary to determine how many packets of food are needed if everyone eats 1, 2 and half a packet. 
Having coped with the task and seeing the house of the Sun in the distance, our heroes got together again in the rocket. However, the doors did not open and required a magnetic key, for each individual.
To pick up the key, it was necessary to choose from the proposed magnetic letters the one with which the name of each traveler begins. 
Having picked up the keys, the heroes easily crossed outer space and landed at the house of the Sun.
The Sun is visiting
So we got to the Sun! How will we wake him up? the hare asked.
Various options were put forward: shouting, thundering, beating drums, making noise.
“What if it gets scared and won’t open the door for us at all?” - replied the duck. Let's better sing a song to him and play the pipe.
We learned and sang the song "Sunny, come out" several times, which you can listen to in this video.
So the Sun woke up, came out of his house. Hooray! But some grimy Sun woke up, dirty, not washed. The animals had to wash the Sun. And Masha was instructed to water it from a pear tree.
Smiley - I glued the Sun into a file and painted it with black gouache on top. 
For 5 minutes, my daughter diligently washed it off the paint, but then, deciding that half measures were useless, she turned on the shower and washed off the paint, rubbing it with a soapy washcloth on top for more shine.
The sun thanked everyone, but complained that, although it was clean, it would not be able to go to the sky, it sat up in its house, all its sides lay down.
Then Masha invited him to do his favorite exercises "Sunshine".
Now the Sun is ready to go up to the sky and warm the Earth with its warmth. And we hope that very soon the warm spring sun will shine on our street.
