How is the Unified State Exam in computer science assessed? What is tested in the exam? Announcement of official results

Every graduate who wants to become a student at one of the Russian universities in 2018 faces a difficult task - to successfully pass the Unified State Exam, as well as to choose the right educational institution and faculty for submitting documents. Most 11th graders and their parents are faced with the final exam grading system for the first time and often find it difficult to find answers to the questions that arise. Therefore, we decided to shed light on important points.

In 2017-2018, the main rules passing the Unified State Exam will not be significantly changed. This means that the 100-point assessment system for final tests will still be relevant for graduates.

How is everything going?

During the checking of examination papers, for each correctly completed task, the graduate is credited with the so-called “ primary points”, which upon completion of the work check are summed up and converted into a “test score”, which is indicated in the Unified State Examination certificate.

Important! Since 2009, the scale for converting the primary and test scores of the Unified State Exam into the traditional five-point grades for schools has not been officially used, because in 2017 and 2018 the final exams are not included in the certificate.

Work verification is performed in two ways:

  • automatically (using special programs and technical means);
  • manually (the correctness of detailed answers is checked by two independent experts).

It is quite difficult to challenge the result of an automatic check. If the basic rules were not followed when filling out the answer table, the computer may not protect the result, and only the graduate himself will be to blame for this, for not following a number of mandatory rules.

If controversial issues arise during the expert review, a third specialist is involved, whose opinion will be decisive.

When can I expect results?

The following time frames apply by law:

  • data processing (by compulsory subjects) in RCIO should not last longer than 6 calendar days;
  • RCIO is given 4 days to process data (elective subjects);
  • check in Federal Center testing should take no more than 5 working days;
  • approval of results by the State Examination Commission - 1 more day;
  • up to 3 days for distribution of results to Unified State Exam participants.

In practice, from the moment of passing the exam to receiving the official result, it can take from 8 to 14 days.

Converting Unified State Examination points into grades

Despite the fact that officially in 2018 the scale for transferring points according to Unified State Exam subjects V five-point rating is not used, many still want to interpret their result in a more familiar “school” system. To do this, you can use special tables or online calculators.

The second method is a little simpler and more convenient than searching required values in the cells of a huge table. You just need to choose a subject (mathematics, Russian language, chemistry, physics, history, English language, social studies... and other subjects), enter data and get the desired result in a matter of seconds.

We invite you to try how simple and convenient it is to use online calculators for the Unified State Exam score and its conversion into a 5-point score in practice.

Internet systems for applicants

The 2017-2018 academic year is over, the exam has been passed, the results are known and even interactive scale translation primary points showed that the Unified State Examination result was in a fairly good range... But is this enough to enter the desired university?

Assess the real chances of admission based on test scores and the minimum passing threshold set by the university.

Important! The minimum passing score is determined by the university itself. It will directly depend on the scores of applicants who apply in 2018. The more popular the specialty, the higher the passing score.

Often at TOP faculties, even 100-point results are not enough for admission to the budget. Only Olympiad winners who provide significant additional points have a chance to see their name on the list of applicants for such majors.

In 2018, the most popular services for selecting a university and monitoring the entrance score threshold for various specialties will be:

  1. Ucheba.ru
  2. Apply online
  3. Calculator High school economy
  4. Postyplenie.ru
  5. Typical applicant

These services are very easy to find. Just enter their name into any search engine.

The 2018-2019 school year is ahead, which will be graduation for many Russian schoolchildren who are already concerned about questions successful completion One State Exam and successful admission to a good university.

We will tell you how exam papers are checked in different subjects, how the scale for converting Unified State Exam points into grades works, and what innovations you can expect in 2019.

Principles for assessing work on the Unified State Exam 2019

Over the past few years Unified State Exam system in a number of subjects has undergone significant changes and has been brought to an optimal (in the opinion of the organizers) format, which makes it possible to fully assess the volume of knowledge of a graduate in a particular subject.

In 2018-2019 dramatic changes is not expected and we can say with confidence that the same principles as in 2017-2018 will be applied to evaluate the work of graduates:

  1. automated verification of forms;
  2. involving experts in checking tasks with detailed answers.

How does a computer evaluate?

First part exam paper involves a short answer to the questions posed, which Unified State Exam participant must be entered on a special answer form.

Important! Before starting work, be sure to read the rules for filling out the form, as incorrectly completed work will not pass the automated check.

It is quite difficult to challenge the result of a computer check. If the work was not counted due to the fault of a participant who filled out the form incorrectly, the result is considered unsatisfactory.

How do experts rate it?

In many subjects, in addition to the test part, there are tasks that require a full, detailed answer. Since it is impossible to automate the process of checking such answers, experts are involved in the verification - experienced teachers with extensive work experience.

Checking Unified State Exam teacher does not know (and even with a strong desire cannot find out) whose work lies in front of him and in what city (region) it was written. Testing is carried out on the basis of uniform assessment criteria developed specifically for each subject. Each work is checked by two experts. If the experts’ opinions coincide, the assessment is put on the form, but if independent appraisers disagree, then a third expert is involved in the verification, whose opinion will be decisive.

That is why it is important to write legibly and accurately so that there is no ambiguous interpretation of words and phrases.

Primary and test scores

Based on the test results, the Unified State Exam participant is awarded a certain number of primary points, which are then converted into text points (points for the entire test). IN different subjects There are different maximum primary points depending on the number of tasks. But after giving the result according to the appropriate table, the Unified State Examination participant receives a final test score, which is the official result of his final tests (maximum 100 points).

So, in order to pass the exam, it is enough to score the established minimum threshold primary score:

Literature

Based on these numbers, you can accurately understand that the exam has been passed. But what grade? The 2018 online scale will help you with this, designed specifically for converting primary Unified State Exam scores into test scores, which will also be relevant for the 2019 results. A convenient calculator can be found on the website 4ege.ru.

Announcement of official results

Graduates are always concerned with the question of how quickly they can find out what result was obtained during the test and what the scale for converting the points scored on the Unified State Exam into traditional grades will be in 2019.

Teachers often take it upon themselves to calm students down by working through assignments immediately after the exam. Unified State Exam tickets and assessing the quality of work performed by students and the amount of primary points scored. Official results must be waited for 8-14 days, according to the established regulations for the Unified State Exam 2019. On average, organizers approve the following inspection schedules:

  • 3 days to check the work;
  • 5-6 days for processing information at the federal level;
  • 1 working day for approval of the results of the State Examination;
  • 3 days to post results online and transfer data to educational institutions.

In case of unforeseen situations and technical problems, these deadlines may be revised.

You can find out your owl score:

  • directly at your school;
  • on the portal check.ege.edu.ru;
  • on the website gosuslugi.ru.

Converting points to grades

Since 2009, Unified State Examination results are not included in the graduate certificate. Therefore, today there is no official state system converting the Unified State Examination result into a grade on a school 5-point scale. As part of the entrance campaign, the test score obtained in the exam is always summed up and taken into account. But many students are still interested in finding out how they passed the exam - 3 or 4, 4 or 5. For this, there is a special table that details the correspondence for each of the 100 points in each subject.

Estimates Using such a table is quite inconvenient. It is much easier to find out how you passed the Russian language, mathematics or history by using the online calculator 4ege.ru, which also contains a scale for converting Unified State Exam scores, which is relevant for graduates of 2019.

Having received the Unified State Exam result, you should decide on a university as quickly as possible, comparing your capabilities with the real competition for the specialties you are interested in. Thus, the practice of past years shows that in some cases it is difficult to get into the most popular areas in the capital’s universities even with high scores, because not only holders of 100-point scores will compete for places Unified State Exam results, and also winners of the largest Olympiads 2018-2019 academic year.

Information technology is undergoing modern stage fast qualitative changes. This is due to the fact that informatization affects almost all spheres of life: education, medicine, technology, production, etc. Good specialists are in great demand in this area. That's why special role training of specialists in the field of computer science plays a role. And it begins within the walls of secondary educational institutions, where every year some graduates choose to take the Unified State Exam in computer science. The 2019 school year will be no exception.

Features of the Unified State Exam in computer science

The Unified State Examination in computer science and information and communication technologies is an optional exam. It is taken by those guys who need to present their results to the university. Every year it is chosen by about 7% of eleventh graders from total number graduates.

The minimum test score in the Unified State Exam in computer science is 40 on a 100-point scale. If the student does not type given quantity points, the exam is considered failed.

For competitive admission to a university, you need to score 60 points or higher.

The duration of the Unified State Exam in computer science is 3 hours 55 minutes.

Who chooses computer science?

The number of people wishing to take computer science after 11th grade is quite stable. IN recent years this figure fluctuates around 50 thousand people annually.

This exam is chosen by those schoolchildren who are going to enroll in training areas related to IT specialties:

  • programming;
  • applied mathematics and computer science;
  • information and computer sciences;
  • computer technology and information science.

That is, this is everything related to the development, maintenance, deployment of software information systems very different meanings.

Universities can choose a third exam, in addition to the two mandatory ones - mathematics and Russian language. The third exam is usually physics or computer science.

About changes in the Unified State Examination in computer science

Computer science is one of the most dynamically developing subjects, as updates in the information sphere occur continuously.

Is it possible to prepare for it in detail? These are the questions those guys who set out to storm its heights ask themselves.

The examination model cannot change too often, since preparation for the Unified State Exam takes more than one year, but throughout the entire period of schooling in this subject. In 2019, there are no changes in the computer science exam, fortunately for graduates of the current academic year.

You can get acquainted with computer science, specifications and codifiers on the FIPI website. In the section “Projects of KIM Unified State Exam, OGE and State Examination 2019” These documents have been posted.

How to prepare for the exam?

The computer science course at school returns to theoretical computer science and programming, that is, to such things that are needed for further education at the university, for professional activity. And less attention is paid to user skills due to the fact that modern children have been familiar with smartphones and tablets since childhood and are well versed in them as users.

Computer science requires a graduate to also have knowledge of mathematics, so in KIM there are many tasks related to mathematical issues of computer science:

  • number system;
  • coding;
  • presentation of information.

So without mathematical training It will be difficult to pass computer science.

Also, a student taking computer science must be proficient foreign language, English. It is very necessary in professional activities.

There are quite a few programming courses on the Internet that offer quality preparation for the exam. Therefore, you can prepare either independently or with the help of a teacher.

What is tested in the exam?

The Unified State Exam in computer science consists of 27 tasks.

The option consists of two parts:

Thus, almost all sections are checked school course computer science.

Programming is widely represented.

  • In Part 1, in five tasks, you need to check what this or that program prints, that is, to understand it. But this is not only programming; you need to understand the algorithm that implements this fragment.
  • In Part 2 there are two tasks where you need to write a fragment of a program. There is also a task in which you need to find an error in the program.

Consequently, about 30% of Unified State Exam tasks (from basic level to high) contain programming elements.

The computer science exam is designed for a specialized level of education. It is assumed that at the profile level, computer science should be taught at school 4 times a week.

If the school implements specialized training in computer science, this is quite enough without any additional independent studies.

If there is no school specialized training computer science, then you need to prepare yourself or look for a teacher-tutor in the subject.

The problem schools face is the lack of modern computers and good Internet, especially in small towns and villages, as well as specialists high level capable of preparing for the Unified State Exam in computer science.

  1. Don't be afraid of the computer science exam. In fact, it is not very difficult (for those who are prepared). It is easier than the exam in physics or chemistry.
  2. Clearly know the assessment criteria in order to develop a strategy for preparing for the computer science exam.
  3. Prepare regularly, replenishing your piggy bank with new knowledge.
