Such a rapidly developing pace of the title, and I thought that everything would go gradually (from the beginning of pumping them up to the required level, when they can fight the waves equally and quickly), but here..
1) Characters. Yes, some may seem clichéd, but this is far from true. The same one, with his shield (I admire him to be honest), in spite of everything, tries to live not in his own world according to the rules of another world (namely: rudely, cruelly), although his gentleness is indeed within reasonable limits.
2) Peace. Yes, at first I also thought that I had seen something similar somewhere, but my thoughts and composing the world in which Naofumi is located made me immerse myself in what was happening on the screen.
3) Plot. Oh, this is certainly not the first arc of SAO, but the presentation of the story turned out great. These four heroes, their powers and what one of them became... It's funny how. True, I think that the canon is usually three, at least, or there are five and six, but here there are four and... hmm, it’s still interesting.
4) Atmosphere. Music, the sound of swords, sometimes even silence on the screen makes you tense up. And you don’t want to skip the opening at all.
5) Morality. In this title, I really didn’t even think about it, because it’s such a rarity, but still, the people saved by the Shield, despite what they knew about it, were grateful to it and did not despise it at all. Even the other half of the knights returned and got into formation, helping the Shield. Well, at least some moral values in this parallel world not deprived.
6) The level of this title.
I would say that it is second-rate and just an anime for a passerby to kill time, but this would be an understatement, since you become interested in what else will happen to the character.
