The city Department of Education has published the annual ranking of the best Moscow schools based on the results of 2015/2016 school year. On Thursday, the Moscow Department of Education published a ranking of Moscow schools. MOSLENTA looked at the first five and last five lines of the list of 300 schools, as well as the five that occupied the lowest lines of the 500 list. The choice is explained simply: the rating consists of two parts: from 1 to 300 numbers, and from 301 to 500.

The top five in the ranking has changed slightly: first place is occupied by Lyceum 1535 for the second year in a row, and for the first time the HSE Lyceum (last year it took 23rd place) and Lyceum No. 1580 at Baumanka (rose from eighth to fifth place). The Kolmogorov School at Moscow State University fell from the top five to the top ten, moving from second to seventh place, and Lyceum 1501 dropped from fourth to ninth place.
